UTSAV TARUN BHARAT
A CULRUTAL EVENT BY YOUTH

ON WEDNESDAY, 25 AUG. 2010
at : SRI RAM CENTRE, New Delhi

UTSAV TARUN BHARAT takes place this coming Wednesday, 25 August 2010, at Shri Ram Centre, Mandi House. Tarun Bharat is a movement that believes “it's not just politicians, institutions and big businesses that can change the world — ordinary people can do it too”.

UTSAV TARUN BHARAT is a celebration of Youth by Youth, to create a platform where the young ones can discover their values, their aspirations, the answers to their hopes and get inspired to build the “Future that they can Love”.

Created by young people, organized as a voluntary effort named TARUN BHARAT NIRMAAN, the group was formed due to the lack of space for young people in today's world. While everyone talks about the Youth being the future of the country, the ground reality is very different. Young people have no voice, no authority, no say and no way to make real contribution in the decision making process of today's world.

TARUN BHARAT believes that the lack of cultural values is a serious issue and this UTSAV is an attempt to create a space for youth where they can begin expressing themselves freely and without bindings.

Hence, there are events in the areas of RANGOLI, FOLK DANCE, SHORT FILM, NUKKAD NATAK, STILL PHOTOGRAPHY and these works will be exhibited at the UTSAV TARUN BHARAT.

The program of 25th August evening will consist of the following :

·         Screening of Movie - "Shuruaat Aap Se"

·         "Woman Eternal..." a Contemporary Group Choreography, by Bhavni Mishra from Sandhya Unit of Performing Art

·         Lecture Demonstration by Ms. Nisha Mahajan (Senior Guru of Kathak), accompanied by Shalini Singh

·         Confluence of Rhythm by Ramamoorthy Sriganesh on Mridangam and Govind Chakraborthy on Tabla

We invite you to be a part of the event and cover it for the benefit of your audience so that more young people can know about this initiative and explore it.
